Step 1 is the solution used in the FIRST stage of the eyelash lamination treatment.
The product softens the hair cuticle, lifting the hair cuticles and facilitating the penetration of active ingredients into the hair. The pH of the solution is 9.0–9.5.

Description
How it works Step 1:
Ammonium thioglycolate, which is one of the ingredients, opens the cuticle scales, facilitating the penetration of active ingredients into the hair. It influences and perfectly rebuilds disulfide bonds, fixes the hairs on the eyelashes and helps to form the necessary curl of the eyelashes (according to the shape of the silicone pad);
the solution is economical and easy to use and has a soft consistency thanks to special ingredients that provide an occlusive effect;
a nourishing complex based on moisturizing ingredients - keratin and collagen - protects the protein structures of eyelash hairs during lamination, retains the necessary moisture, protects the hair against drying and damage, thickens them, provides density and volume to the eyelashes.
ATTENTION! Step 1 may have a yellowish color, which is considered acceptable and does not affect the quality of the product.
ATTENTION! The presence of a sulfur odor in the solutions from step 1 and step 2 is acceptable.
ATTENTION! Before performing eyelash lamination treatment, it is recommended to consult an ELAN professional line technologist.
How to use
1) Analyze the condition of the hair on the client's eyelashes
Determine the processing time of eyelash lamination solutions according to the instructions below
- Type I: thick or straight eyelash hairs - processing time 12–15 minutes;
- type 2: medium-thick or thin eyelash hairs - action time 6-12 minutes.
2) Prepare your eyelashes for lamination
Check the condition and structure of the eyelash hairs to accurately determine the duration of their use.
To degrease the hair before laminating the eyelashes, use «ELAN professional line Cleansing detoxifying foam for eyebrows and eyelashes with antibacterial effect».
Attach a silicone pad of the appropriate size to the upper eyelid.
Spread and fix the eyelashes on the silicone pad using glue and applicator.
3) Curl your eyelashes (Step 1)
Apply Step 1 to curled lashes. Processing time is 6-15 minutes. It is recommended to use the professional BLACKWOOD makeup brush # 1 from TM ELAN professional line.
After the working time, wash off excess solution with a dry makeup brush in the direction of hair growth. It is recommended to use the professional BLACKWOOD makeup brush # 2 from TM ELAN professional line.
ATTENTION! The maximum processing time should not exceed the processing time for the selected hair type.
4) Correct the direction of the eyelash hairs (step 2)
Apply Step 2 to curled lashes that were previously treated with Step 1.
ATTENTION! The amount of solution used at stage IV of eyelash lamination should be equal to the amount of solution used at stage III of eyelash curling.
ATTENTION! The processing time at stage IV should be the same as the processing time at stage III of creating eyelash curl. It is unacceptable to shorten the processing time.
After the processing time, remove excess solution and glue with a cotton swab moistened with water.
ATTENTION! To obtain the most impressive and visible effect, ELAN professional line technologists recommend performing eyelash coloring treatment with gel color 01 black from TM ELAN professional line after the lamination procedure.
Apply «ELAN professional line Cleansing detoxifying foam for eyebrows and eyelashes with antibacterial effect» to your eyelashes to stop the chemical reaction. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water. Do this step after completing the eyelash tinting procedure.
For a better effect, use "ELAN professional line COLOR FIX: color-fixing fluid for eyebrows and eyelashes with keratin and sunflower oil".
EYELASH LAMINATION PROCEDURE FOLLOWING CARE RECOMMENDATIONS
! It is strongly recommended to avoid saunas, solariums and any mechanical damage to the curls (e.g. sleeping face down on a pillow) and to use mascara for 24 hours after eyelash lamination.
! It is strongly recommended to avoid using aggressive cosmetics for 48 hours after eyelash lamination.
RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER EYELASH LAMINATION TREATMENT
Absolute contraindications to the eyelash lamination procedure are: individual sensitivity to the ingredients of the solution, any skin damage around the eyes, redness, facial rash of any etiology and allergic reactions to the eye mucosa.
